The world is vast and beautiful. We learn a lot by exploring this world.
Deepa Ramesh from CEG CSE 92 has done that. She has visited all the continents and has pleasant memories to share. We learned about the penguin colonies in Antartica. We learned that one can visit the coral reef and appreciate the beauty even without knowing swimming or deep water diving. We heard about the beautiful wind swept landscapes and varying terrains of Kilimanjaro in Africa. We learned why Diamox can be useful. While weather may be unpredictable, adventure is certain in almost all locations.
Deepa shared lots of tips from her tips. Having good gear is essential for the adventure. Adding a sense of challenge to the adventure is important for all ages. Finding a good supportive group is valuable. She had lots of beautiful pictures to share from her visits. If any, my takeaway is that we all have other get out, explore, and appreciate the nature more.
