CEGfi: Engineering for a sustainable environment

Continued population growth across the world means we need to rethink our approach to environment and growth. As engineers, we like to solve problems. On May 21st, one such engineer, G. Venugopal (CEG1984), shared insights from his life experiences in building a sustainable environment.

Venu has worked in public companies, private companies, NGOs, in and out of Government agencies, etc. His work covers agriculture, environment, skills development, and engineering projects. He has also started and grown businesses. In this hourlong presentation, he shared a wealth of insights.

There was an engaged group of Guindians at the meet. We also had a daughter of one of the CEG Alumni attend the meeting. Though she was recommended to attend by her dad, she was inspired by the topic and context shared. Venu inspired confidence with his experienced voice. We are glad to host him at CEGfi.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
